Having Internet Problems? The Government of Pakistan Knows!

(And they have a simple plan to fix it!)
Have you noticed that your internet has been super slow or keeps turning off lately? Maybe your YouTube videos keep stopping to load, or your online games get stuck.
If you live in Islamabad, you're not alone! Lots of people have been complaining about this.
What's Going On?
The government has officially said, "Yes, there is a problem!" They have found out that many internet cables in the city are old, damaged, or just not good enough anymore. Think of it like an old, rusty water pipe that can't give you enough water for a shower.
These old internet "pipes" are causing the connection to break again and again.
What Are They Doing About It?

Fixing all these old cables will take a long time. So, the government is asking internet companies to do a "Quick Fix" first.
A "Quick Fix" is like when you put a piece of strong tape on a torn book page to keep it together until you can properly glue it later. It's not a perfect, forever solution, but it helps things work for now.
This means the internet companies should find the broken spots and patch them up quickly so that everyone can get back online while they plan the big, permanent repair.
What Does This Mean For You?
You're Not Crazy: If your internet has been bad, it's a real city-wide problem, not just your Wi-Fi acting up.
Help is Coming (Slowly): The "Quick Fix" should hopefully make your internet more stable soon.
A Bigger Fix is on the Way: The government knows they need to build a stronger, better internet system for the future, and they are working on it.
