It's a good practice to regularly change your Wi-Fi password to keep your network secure. If you have a Huawei router with the "blue menu" interface, this guide will walk you through the process step-by-step.

Accessing Your Router's Settings

First, connect to your Wi-Fi network or plug an ethernet cable directly into the router. Then, open a web browser and type the router's IP address, 192.168.100.1, into the address bar. Press Enter to go to the login page.

You'll need to enter the provided credentials to log in:

  • Username: telecmadmin

  • Password: admintelecom

Once you've entered the information, click "Login" to access the router's configuration page.

Navigating to Wi-Fi Settings

After logging in, you'll be on the main configuration screen. From here, follow these steps to get to the Wi-Fi settings:

  1. Click on "Advanced Configuration".

  2. Then, select "WLAN Configurations" from the menu.

Changing Your Wi-Fi Password

Now you're on the page where you can manage your Wi-Fi settings. You have the option to change both your Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password.

  1. Change Wi-Fi Name (Optional): Look for the "SSID" field. If you want to change your Wi-Fi network's name, you can do so here.

  2. Change Password: Find the field for the password. Enter a new, strong password. Make sure it's something you'll remember but isn't easy for others to guess. Important Note: Be very careful when changing your password. If you forget it, you may need to visit our office to get your device reset.

  3. Click the "APPLY" button to save your changes.

Final Steps

Your router will take a moment to apply the new settings. All devices currently connected to your Wi-Fi will be disconnected. You'll need to reconnect them using the new password you just set.

❌ MAC فلٹرز یا راؤٹر کی دیگر سیٹنگز میں کوئی تبدیلی نہ کریں۔ ایسا کرنے سے آپ کا انٹرنیٹ منقطع ہو سکتا ہے، اور آپ کو راؤٹر کو دوبارہ سیٹ کروانے کے لیے ہمارے دفتر لانا پڑے گا۔
